i just want to know if it's a good or bad thing to be called by everyone i know " too friendly " ???

    have you heard that "excess of every thing is dangerous".... be friendly but not too much specially with the ones you just come to know... give them space to come to you if they want and get impressed by you don't give a feeling of extra stickiness ( haha take it in social terms) ...... every one else around is not so friendly, understanding and honoring ... so to avoid such comments avoid such people.... STAY HAPPY AND FRIENDLY WITH THOSE WHO DESERVE..!! :)

    It can either mean, as shade said, that you are too clingy or touchy. It can mean that you are annoying or it can mean that they see your "friendliness" as fake or off putting... Kind of like if you have ever seen movies like "Mean Girls" where some of the female characters are unrealistically friendly. I don't know how else to put it... that you act so friendly that it's almost untrustworthy, the way people can be intimidated by a person that acts like they literally shit sunshine.

    Tone it down a bit if that's the case.

    Some people need to socialize more than others, its part of who they are. People that want you to stop being so 'incredibly' social are asking for there own reasons, not for your benefit. If you do stop socializing you will lose a little bit of yourself.... only to have to find it all over again later in life.

      Unless you're English. I've heard people say, "Oh, it's just too lovely" and mean it positively.

      But generally, yeah, if people are saying you are too much of something, it's usually meant as a warning to be less of that thing.

    I mean, if they're saying you're *too* friendly, do you get really clingy or touchy or anything?

    If not I'd say you're safe.
