Is it concerning for my eye to be twitching?

So every since a few weeks ago my eye has been on and off twitching. It’s only been my right eye usually, but my left will twitch if I rubbed it a lot or, this happened a few days ago, a ball (gym class) hit my face and eye (though i had time to react enough to cover most of the left side of my face including my left eye). I have had the normal amount of stress I remember noticing as before, though in my school sophomore (10th grade) year is the hardest out of all the grades. I have the same amount of caffeine usually, only having more some days if I’m like to fatigued or exhausted to get through my classes, which my eyes don’t twitch more when I have more, and I am underage to drink and don’t want to drink alcohol. My sleep has been around the same, as I make sure I get to bed at most of 11 (sometimes I have to stay up or can’t fall asleep as fast) and I stare at screens as I usually did in the summer, actually less then in the summer. I haven’t gone to the doctors about it because if I didn’t go to the doctors for a sprained ankle(which it still is stupid and I didn’t go to the doctors for it) then I didn’t go because my eye decided to move involuntarily. It started to twitch if suddenly something happens, like a doorbell, someone touching me, a noise, etc. It went away last week a bit and hasn’t been as noticeably since the first 2 weeks and now. When it twitches more my eyes want to water and I have th urge to cry, though I don’t since usually I’m in public and crying isn’t the most pleasant since I don’t feel that happy related to crying fits. I have problems lol.

Anyway does anyone have suggestions? I don’t think diet can affect it since I have been eating healthier then last year, not by much but yea, and it isn’t a deficiency since I take vitamins even before this happened. My eye will twitch sometimes when I sleep too, so it’s more so annoying then concerning. I just don’t want it go get out of hand because I ignored it.

It will go away 5

"Left Eye Twitching Superstition – China: An old Chinese saying about twitching eyelids says that “the twitching of the left eyelid indicates the coming of good fortune; while the right one is a warning about the coming bad luck."

Have the school nurse take a look at it. If you don’t have a nurse in your school have a doc check it out. Probably not serious, but it’s been a few weeks and should be examined.
