Both are essential to life. Really hard to say
Depends on the person. Being loved doesnt affect me much but when I love someone it makes a world of difference.
It's better to love. You can't appreciate being loved without learning to love.
You can't have a happy and fulfilled life unless you love a lot. Your career, your hobbies, your friends, family and yourself. All starts with that last one.

Definitely to love. There's incredible joy in loving someone. I'm failing miserably to explain it though.
