I think the problem in why people aren't being educated too well today is because they aren't being told to be who they want to be, they are being told to be themselves, which obviously the majority doesn't want to be working all the time, etc.
I would say be who you want to be is better.
Is it better to be yourself or strive to be who you want to be?
