Is it bad to date a guy who never dated before?

He's an adult, in his 20s but he's never dated before due to pushing people away because he was unwell mentally for years. No he's not a virgin for all you people thinking that, he's been with people just not in relationships only one night stands.

I want a serious relationship and I seem to be in one but I worry because most people never end up with the first person they date and I'm scared of losing him. We've been together a year now and there are definitely struggles at times but overall it's good. I'm just terrified because I'm his first relationship that it'll end one day.

I just don't know if I'm setting myself up for heart break because I've dated many people before and I am not at a point in my life to lose another partner especially since my last break up was when I was engaged about to be married.
