Clingy as in..Always together, touching each other, and being close is good. Clingy as in a call or text every three minutes to check up on you, not good.
My ex-wife and I, when things were good, would have qualified for the first one. Always together, doing things, and once, shopping for a laptop, had a guy come up to us and say it was great to see two people so much in love, always touching and hands-on each other (not in a sexual way..). That was good clingy.
Bad clingy? Dated a woman who'd call or text me constantly. One morning, 8 times. About nothing. Lot of dead air on the phone, too. "So...I...Uh...Was think-in..Ab-out....May-be cleaning..The..kit-chen".. Drove me crazy. I was on the road for work at lot back then, and once, literally between two red lights, she called me three times. I told her..Where do you think I went? I was in my car 38 seconds ago, and still am! Bad clingy.
Is it bad that i want a "clingy" partner?
