Is it bad that i really, really want to be brown/latina?

Ever since I was young I've loved Mexican culture. I recently discovered Lele Pons, a Latina woman who has inspired millions of people and helped them recover and discover who they really are or find out who they don't have to be to be normal. I wish I could make that impact as a Latina woman, but I'm as white as white can get: albino. I know I can't change that, but is it insulting in any way to another Latina woman that I want to be like her?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Lele is white and latina. Latina is not a race.
    Albino is not a race.
There are black albinos, Indian albinos, latina albinos.
Being albino has nothing to do with being white.
Being Latina has nothing to do with race.
Lele has nothing to do with Mexican culture.
There are a vast array of cultures originating in mexico and of mexicans living throughout the world.
There are a vast array of non-mexican Latino cultures.
Lele is not someone you want to be like. She deleted Amanda Cerny's videos and blamed it on her jealously and blamed this on being Latina. She also is often advertising products to children through paid sponsors which are not clearly disclosed.
I don't think Lele is Mexican.
You want to make an impact, great. Being Latina in your case is a superficial desire. You cannot become Latina.
Latina women are people and will have varying opinions.

I agree with everything (well apart from "you can't become Latina", because Latino is a culture and not a race)

@OP just be yourself though. You can enjoy Latin culture there's nothing wrong with that, but you don't have to change your appearance to be attractive, or fit some "stereotypical" image of what Latinos look like.

I agree it is not a race, but I think technically it actually means anybody with ancestry from Latin america
