Is it bad that i keep a journal to write on in this age of internet?

I'm a twenty five year old woman who writes her thoughts in a journal mostly rather than the internet because some thoughts are best left unposted on the internet. I know many people don't write a lot in their journals because they have social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.

I feel like an old timer for keeping a journal, but it's a good stress reliever as well as a good hobby to keep.

Is It Normal?

    In my opinion journal is the best & far much better than social media. I write it too the only problem is to hid it somwhere safe so that my mom can't see it. Coz she sometimes just don't understand the "personal space" word😫

        I actually wrote a curse in the front of one of my journals about twenty years ago. My mom and sister read my diary, and I guess you could say I never got over it.

          I think its a worst thing anyone could do their own family it is so annoying. But my dad is cool he doesn't care what I write may he don't even know that but I think all moms & sis are like that

    There's literally nothing wrong with that, I'm 26 and I do the same thing. I've kept many journals over the years. Writing down your thoughts can be very therapeutic.

    Yeah. Its a great way to rant about your emotions and life, without getting hat comments, annoying other people. You also don't have yo worry about credit card nubers, your identity or shit like that getting revealed.

    It is not bad but i think maybe if anyone ever finds out they will judge you.
    I think people who write their diary in a journal have a relatively sensitive heart.. who knows..
