ok, so i'm 19 years old and i've always shaved or waxed my legs, armpits etc, but it struck me the other day I have never touched my arms. i would say i have very hairy arms for a girl
is it still kinda acceptable? what does everyone else do? (looking at you, girls ;))
What if I told you that you don't have to shave anything at all, and that there are men out there who love hairy women no matter what the public says (including myself). I have always grown up with many females in my life and I've seen how annoying and frustrating it is to shave everyday just to "fit in" with the rest of what "society" thinks is the correct way a woman should look. don't you find it strange that the natural woman, the way that god made themn or if you are athiest, the way evolution made them, is the wrong and disgusting way? I understand that being hairy, is not attractive to some, but to say that ALL MEN don't like it? Speak for yourself is what I say.. Ingrown hairs, dry skin, cuts, the list goes on, on the different problems you can get from shaving sensitive areas that are constantly rubbing together. You should only shave for yourself, and stop letting what others think about you control you! I know that it can be frustrating and that some people are very mean including other women, but you can't let what others think affect you. It's your hair, your body, not theirs.
P.s. every girl that I've been with I've specifically told them that I do not care at all if they don't shave. and 99.9% of them have told me, that it was such a relief and that they appreciate me for truly enjoying their body, the way it was meant to be.
I love girls who leave hair wherever it grows. Armpits, legs, and indeed arms! (I'm a British heterosexual male, if that's relevant)
I've never liked girls to have hairy arms but at the same time it was never a big enough issue that I demanded my past girlfriends to shave or anything like that.
I think I brought it up once to a past girlfriend but she didn't want to shave and it wasn't that big a deal so I never mentioned it again.
If it grows here naturally, you don't have to shave it off. Humans are mammals, and mammals have hair. While males on average have a bit more body hair than females, you don't have to think of yourself as hairy - say that you are "fluffy" ;-)
i shave mine mainly because im Italian meaning its super dark and there is a lot of it. it just makes me feel insecure tbh so i shave.
