    I could never stomach the stock market, I don’t like how much it all feels like pixie dust. I’ve always rathered buying flip projects or doing interest loans for local businesses.

    I do have money in the stock market, but I let my sister handle it all, I just send her money every month to invest however she wants, but she’s one of those geniuses so that plays a big part.

    If you have the interest to read in and actually learn how the market works, it may be worth it. But investing small cash at random may not get you too far

    S&P500 is a good one to invest in. Its pretty safe and goes up pretty well.

    maybe wait until the fall or so when the market inevitably corrects

    or at least invest but be ready to pull it all out when shit gets crazy

            you can also tell me that scared money dont make money and id agree with that too

            i wish id invested more and even borrowed to invest in 2008

            it was so obvious and real estate so much more

            i was senior personnel that year and was sittin in the big bosses office bullshittin when a feller came in and wanted to stop makin 401k contributions cause 'its just not makin money lately'

            we tried to talk him out of it but its his life

            any dollar hed put in that year would be worth 2 or 3 now

              401k is one of those things you just forget about and dont watch. Biggesr problem i have with investing is its really hard to put money in when you see the market going down. I pulled money out of bitcoin in 2017 when it went down. Had I left it id have about 100k in bitcoin right now. Now when stocks go down I never pull out! I just say fuck it im in it for the long haul
