I always see these beautiful girls that say, "oh, I am so ugly". It just seems so stupid. I swear that they are putting on an act for attention. Or maybe you aren't supposed to find yourself attractive. I think I am pretty...is that normal?

It's normal. Like pretty girls have probably always been pretty, so they feel that they need attention. By saying that they are ugly out loud, they encourage people to tell them their pretty or they are feeling bad because they feel that they are less pretty than they were before. But yeah, it's pretty normal. Like, we as human beings often choose our partners by finding something in them that we see in ourselves. Either consciously, like same sense of humor, or subconsciously like same organ size. So yes, love yourself. :D

Yeah that's totally normal you probably are pretty, but you have to remember that there are millions of people out there who think they are hotter than the next person. It's not a competition, if someone is really hot what's the point of being jealous, people who aren't that hot who have someone who loves them don't need to be down on themselves. That's why there are so many anorexic girls, because they think they won't be pretty unless they are totally underweight.

To look in the mirror and say "Hey! I'm looking really good today" is fine. It's a great way to boost your self esteem. But looking in the mirror and saying "Pfft. I'm hotter than hot today" and walking around like you own the world is not ok. There's a difference between being a concited jerk and modestly thinking you look good. I wish I was like you actually. Whenever I look in the mirror all I see is my flaws. :)
There is a total difference between being entirely CONCEITED or just having self esteem, loser-posters who just want to insult her.
I know I'm pretty, and there is nothing wrong with that. I still have my days where I feel ugly. It's not a terrible thing to know that you are pretty as long as you keep it to yourself and aren't "that drunk girl" at the party that yells about how pretty she is all the time.
After a long and rocky road through my early teens regarding self-confidence, I am now 17 and believe that I am indeed pretty. I think it is normal and not self-indulged at all.
It is totally normal to feel good about yourself and how you look. People who say they are so ugly normally have low self esteem, want attention, or might truly be really ugly.
EVERY person you've met who thought they were pretty were actually ugly? I highly doubt that.
Maybe it's because you look like someone from a magazine. Dress up like someone else completely different for a day and see if its normal.
