    Yes they do. IMO the values are totally warped spending so much on a few hours of a party. There are so many more reasonable things one could do with these large sums of money spent often 25k-100k plus at least in the New York area and some people take out loans to do it on top of not spending their money on wiser things for the long term!

      Jesus Christ! On an basically insignificant birthday?? I hear of people doing that for weddings and I think they're fools...but for a birthday?? That's like...the price of some houses in some parts of America...

      I don't understand people :/

        I 100% agree! You can put a down-payment on a house OR in case of sweet sixteen pay for part or all of college. The values are warped IMO.
