This is how it works and how it will always work. How good a site is depends on moderation. If Moderation is A.Understaffed B.Not very good than your experience will vary depending on the people joining the website. Sites like this attracts the pretentious snobs, and the biggest creeps/rejects/freaks/criminals of society. Along with everything in between.
The older members seem to eventually become bitter and turn into sarcastic assholes overtime, I think often annoyed from being asked the same damn question 1000 times and these stupid idiots not being able to figure this shit out on their own. This website seems to depend on the gold members to help moderate so there is a lot of room for bias. When Moderation either asks members to STAFF or let people govern themselves things are often ran by popularity.
Depending on the crop of people on each website, determines what is needed to make you popular. Sometimes its being a big bully and picking on people trying to act more intelligent than you really are. On some sites its being considerate and caring about others and doing the right thing. On some site its ruining your enemy's reputation so bad they have to leave, or everyone wants this person to hang themselves. What I say does not just apply to this website or well websites specifically.
