Is inbreeding really as common in Alabama as the stereotype claims?

  • Theres truth behind many stereotypes. In the deep south there was not many people it was extremely rural. In areas like that you are often related to most people in your town without knowing it. On top of that sometimes the only person to marry was often your cousin or someone partially related somehow. Nowdays its not really a thing because theres is more people.

    Theres actually probably more inbreeding in west virginia and eastern kentucky and west north carolina than alabama
