Okay people, I'm seriously in love with Raven from Teen Titans. Her powers are something I love, but her whole personality and background story, even how she acts on a "daily" episode basis and in comics... I just love everything about her. And before you guys think I'm a psycho, im a 21 year old male who works for the sheriff department and I am completely mentally and financially stable. I have even had long lasting relationships but no feelings I've ever had have been like what I feel for Raven. I just wish I could marry her but it's just impossible unless there is a girl out there who literally is exactly like Raven. How can I overcome these thoughts.. I've felt like this since I was 12 when I first read the Teen Titans comics. It hurts thinking about the fact she's fictional but I still hope I could find someone who acts like her. Is this normal? Is it possible to find someone like her? :'(

    Look into "waifuism". Small but dedicated subculture of people who are so in love with fictional characters that they treat them as they would a real boyfriend/girlfriend, and consciously choose to forsake relationships with real people in the process. Many of them have stated that they have never been able to connect with real people the way that they have to these fictional characters.

    I know it probably sounds a bit mad, but I actually admire these people and wish my interests were more stable/grounded and didn't shift around so often. I wish I could settle down with a proper fictional gent of my own.

    I actually have a friend who sounds like her when she speaks English and her personality is like hers.
    Unfortunately, she can't fly or hit people with a shadow fist

    If you can madly relate with someone why can't you fall in love with a character?

    I honestly thought you were going to say Sonic the Hedgehog just based on the title.

    You'll probably never meet someone with telekinesis. Sad but true.
