Is is it normal overly obsessed with being gay and straight?

I am amused by posts that are like, I am 100%, totally, completely straight, buuut I make sweet gay love with other men.

A lot of people are trying to figure themselves out, trying to figure out which label they fit under. IIN is a way for them to get some insight on this personal question without family/friends finding out.

Some people just want to characterise themselves. It makes them feel a little bit closer to figuring out who they are. I think it's normal for people to try and do so online, which ever site it may be.

I think this site just attracts people who are unsure about their sexuality. After all this is a site called "Is It Normal". It only makes sense that people are going to come here for questions concerning their sexuality. You see a lot of questions from asexuals too.

It's not only on this site. Most sites are flooded with homosexual related topics and questions. This world is going down the drain.

I agree. A lot of people on this site truly are gay, but are repressed about it and IIN is a way to discuss it. Also, there are people who probably are not gay who begin to question their orientation as a result of a few fleeting homoerotic thoughts here and there, get worried about it, and post it on here.

Also "Is it normal I masturbate so much, is it normal I am a virgin at age(?), Is it normal I am age(?) and don't have a boy/girlfriend yet?

I don't know if you've noticed but there are a lot of immature peeps on IIN, this accounts for most of said posts. Working out what you are is easy. Go outside and look at people, you'll know very quickly.

I actually think this is a good site for all. Some don't really know their sexuality, others are damn sure, still others maybe like myself get to comment on what life has meant for some of us. Being gay or straight makes a difference in what direction one goes in making a happy life.
Many will be happy being gay. Many will be happy being straight. Society has changed in the last fifty years, and now there are advantages to each direction.
If you are in doubt, just take a look at the divorce rate for the supposedly straight. I haven't seen the spilt figure for the gays, but percentage wise, it's probably less.
One might be "bisexual" and still be fine in society or with the people in their group.
There are more ways to make you a happy person today than ever before. I say, go the "gusto". Do what you feel like and change if required.

Why did the mods let this through with the bad voting options? What if you are not a troll and still disagree? I happen to agree somewhat, but what if I didn't? Fucking mods.
