    I'm sorry to disillusion you but there's no way you can know for a fact eh wouldn't cheat on you, so it's possible he is or feels distant emotionally for some other reason.

    Step back a bit, don't text or call anywhere near as often, be more detached and find some interests of your own. What you're doing about the situation now seems to be making it worse, so change what you're doing!

      You're the first person to give sound advice, thank you. I dont want to become too detached because we do live long distant but I will try to give him more space.

        Yeah, and that will leave more space in your life, so be prepared to feel a gap there for a while. just don't panic about it, it will pass, and above all don't react back into your previous trap. Use the extra space for yourself: have fun with friends, take up a hobby, learn a new skill ....you'll be much less likely to obsess about him if you keep busy
