me and my ex broke up a month ago and i really don’t know if he’s lying to me about being over me. he says he’s moved on and just wants to be friends but will always love me and have deep feelings bc i was his first love. but he doesn’t want to get back together and doesn’t feel the same way he used to, he wants to be best friend and always wants to hangout, still texts me mornin and night, calls me babe and says i love you every now and then, kisses me... ugh j can’t tell!!

    Seems like he's conflicted. His brain is telling him that it won't work and his heart is saying otherwise. It means he is still in love but he was decent enough to let you know that you shouldn't have any expectations for the future. In other words, if you're not over him, you can either make up or end it altogether. The way things are now will just hurt him and you, especially if a third element enters the equation (he gets a new gf or you get a new bf).
