Napoleon Hill list 12 factors that make a person successful in his book "The Master-Key to Riches". Money is only a part of the last one. If you get the others down you will naturally have enough money (money flows to the successful like water runs downhill: there are real reasons for that).
I'd also recommend a more recent book on how to become successful at anything: "The Compound Effect": By Darren Hardy.
