all of this post is a bunch of shit we ain't devolving or evolving we are just getting more and more stupid because of our tech. In my familys past we were farmers, hunters, and workers taking care of the people we love
But there is a theory that we are evolving right now - evolution is just a change it doesn't mean something getting better necessarily. The idea is that smart people don't have kids with dumb people usually. Just about every other difference or barrier can be crossed (maybe not illness). So the idea is in thousands of years you could end up with a split in the human species: the smart noble people and the dumb savages. It's not evolution in the sense of something happening for the better, but just a huge change taking place over a long time.
