Do you believe everyone regardless of their ethnicity is secretly racist in some way or another? Meaning lightly racist, whereas you believe that most people tend to believe stereotypes to be mostly true (or run true, much like a piece of truth found in a rumor). Or, you believe most people are extremely racist, but they tend to hide their racist views because they fear many others will admonish them for their unguarded viewpoints. Or, you tend to believe some people are racist while many are not, whereas those who are not racist are not affected by stereotypes because they believe stereotypes are a lie or an exaggeration. And lastly, you believe no one is racist, as somehow through much dedication racism has stopped decades ago, and society has become completely equal. Is it normal to think this?

    Stereotypes exist for a reason, and not all are negative. It is how we act on our assumptions that dictate our qualities, not whether or not a thought crossed our mind.

    I think prejudice (of any form, not just racism) is hard-wired into the human brain. So probably everyone has a little bit of prejudice in them. But some people are bigoted fucks who need to die in a fire.

    Anyone who claims to not be at all racist is kidding themselves. Everyone, no matter how pious they make themselves out to be, has some semblance of judgemental and racist nature in them.

    Hell yes, it still exists in a covert way these days. Regardless of our race, we still have eyes, and as George Clooney stated in the movie Up in the Air, "stereotypes are faster", in spite of the PC airs of today.

    I believe that, on one level or another, everybody is racist to a certain extent, weather they like it or not, or know it or don't know it.

    I think there's an element of judgementalism in us all. We should try hard to eliminate it, but not try too hard (taking anything fanatically leads to problems).
