Is clothes fashion different between the states of the usa?

I ask this question after I heard different people from the USA say different things about skinny jeans. Some of them were like skinny jeans are so out of style in the USA and other people said that it is not true skinny jeans are out of style.

Made me think that clothes fashion varies between the different USA states.

    They differ based on whether or not you are in or near a metropolitan area. Much of the country is still farms and people get in the habit of wearing work appropriate clothing. This of course is different in the city. There are still difference amongst rural areas and various suburban and urban areas. Vastly different climates throughout the country also (mainland) that vary throughout the year and even more drastic differences in Alaska and Hawaii. Usa is an enormous place.
