    im a ginger and half my friends not only call me ranga but sometimes orangutang or other stuff i dont find it harmful

    I am not a red head, but I understand that for some red haired people, calling them a ginger is offensive. I think it depends on the person, really, I've known lots of red heads that were not offended by it but others that were. I wouldn't go around using it, though.
