Is aborting a child some sort of murder

    Well, you said I didn't have to agree with the law. I thought I'd use that liberty. I'll qualify, though: for those crimes SPECIFICALLY I don't think it has a bearing. In some cases it DOES, such as causing accidental death, but I wasn't considering that. I thought too quickly.

      Yes, I was asking what you persoanlly thought, your answer just surprised me a bit.

      I wonder why most couples who choose abortion feel a sense of guilt, loss, and grief then?

        Maybe they do sort of feel it counts as murder? I don't know; I doubt that my thoughts about it not being murder are the norm, so maybe those couples do think it counts as murder, even if they think it is the right decision. It is a big step to take, they are bound to have doubts once you've taken it as to whether it was the right decision.

        Besides, biologically it is always a negative to lose your offspring unborn, because your genes will not be passed on. Maybe that is which causes the guilt? I've never been in that situation, I can only work off instinct.
