  • But... what about ice cream sandwiches? They don't have bread.
    :)

    • Still using two seperate "breads" between a medium. I mean an earth sandwich is technically a sandwich. Or does it have to be edible to be a sandwich?

      • I’d call it a sandwich based on the style of bread, not something simply utilising any random type. Calling a hotdog a sandwich seems wrong even written in text.

        • Idk how you classify bread types. It's all bread but it's how you are suppose to consume it. I mean hardtack is a cracker but you tend to consume it like bread depending on what size the hard tack comes in (think a brick of saltine cacker that weighs as much as an actual brick) is it bread or is it still a cracker or is a cracker something that you need to have bite sized peices?

          • Well I do it on cut and filling, to me they’re all seperate things.

A hotdog is a hotdog made using a hotdog bun.

A roll is a roll made using a roll.

A sandwich is a sandwich made using two slices of bread.

    • An ice-cream sandwich is only a sandwich by name. Not a true sandwich.
Ice-cream sandwich is a type of sponge cake. And is still delishus 😋
