I want to try talk to this cute girl but I'm not sure my image is at its best. I'm made fun of a lot by my friends (probably need new friends) but I still want to talk to this girl I'm just wondering if I do talk to her and things go well and then she sees me being picked on by my mates will it be a turn off and make her not be attracted to me?

    im 19 f, If anything the guys that are assholes to you would be viewed as more unattractive, contrary to what most guys think. It's true that confidence is attractive, but not as attractive as being a genuine and cool person. Only a little brat that's just as douchey as they are would think that you're any less than them. A lot of girls like the idea of a shy sweet boy, don't worry about your friends and talk to her.

    Women like confidence most of all in a man. If you're getting picked on and don't stand up for yourself you obviously lack confidence. Major turn off. Learn to stand up for yourself, gain some confidence, then you'll have a shot with women.

    If you actually manage to start dating this girl, you can bet your arse those "friends" of yours will stfu if they see you with her on your arm.

    Some girls actually like guys who aren't the most physically attractive but who have a heart in the right place.

    As for your image, ask other girls who you find attractive but aren't trying to date what they find physically attractive in a guy. There's nothing on the outside of you that can't be changed, should you want to change it.

    Real friends don't pick on you, or bully you. You should take some martial arts classes to help you build some confidence, and stand up to the bullies in your life.
