Oh and some food for thought. My stepdad "spanked" me (hit me on the head with one finger until I would cry) until the age of 16. So guess what I did as an adult when I would get mad at my husband - and later, my boyfriends?? Yep. You guessed it. I hit them. Took a long time to see I had become abusive because I was abused. They are teaching her to be an abuser instead of teaching her to solve problems creatively and with dignity and respect for all involved. Just my two cents. Spanking is never ok.
