I don’t wish to stereotype, but sadly it seems some men never really grow up and fully mature. But if you love him and it’s what you both want then he is plenty old enough to get married. Whether or not he is old enough to stay married only time will tell, but best advice would be make it clear from the start what your expectations are of him. If you need to change aspects of his behaviour make the changes very slowly and gradually. Give him enough freedom but not too much. And keep things exciting in the bedroom but always on your terms.
