Internet porn networks are just like facebook

I joined an internet porn network a few months ago...and I really like it. At first there were a bunch of sickos trying to friend me with obscene comments, and it was weird...but I just changed my profile settings to private and hand picked who was going to be able to view my profile. I liked it because it was in a way better than facebook or myspace...we were all there for the same reason...we all enjoyed looking at porn. I know that I'll probably never see those people who were on my friend list in person...but it was nice. We didn't just talk about porn...we talked about other things like cooking and music.
I did however delete my profile because I mentioned it to a guy I was casually seeing and he said he would never date someone who had a profile on an internet porn network.
I'm just wondering if anyone else does this.

    don't quite get it.. uh, you go and do something relatively independent - minded, at least in the sense that joining a porn net could get you a bit of a name with the various PC hit squads --- then you get all knickertwisted about what some new passing drone in your life is gonna think of you.. hmm well ok guess yer pretty normal then

    You'd think people on porn networks we're all about porn hey. Cooking? Sounds good to me. Can't see why you can't have a profile on that site. Although, I don't like porn. But hey, i can join up and talk about cooking too.

    And no, I've never joined a porn network. I never even knew such a thing existed.
