Internal thoughts

Is it normal that I always live inside my head. I spend more time with the little voice inside my head than actually interacting with other people.

I do that, and sometimes it's hard to break away from the conversation. I get lost in my thoughts, and find myself feeling that's it's too much trouble to talk to random people about random stuff. Well, I think that kind of introversion is more common if I'm hungry, angry, lonely or tired.

Yeah, I don't usually say much, but I'm thinking about things all the time. On a regular day, there's a hundred things I'm thinking about and over-analyzing. It can be stressful. Sometimes I wish I could shut down my mind, even if just for one day.

I now know who that little voice in my head is and who it's always been.

    Elvis Costello.

Chances are pretty good that you are far more intelligent and sane than most people if you have little interaction with humans and live mostly in your head.
