  • This is a psychological defensive reaction your body is having.

Adrenaline is released into your body in large doses to prepare you for what we call "fight or flight".
Basically, your reaction times increase, blood thickens and prioritizes on organs that will be needed in combat/retreat, to help you react better to the stressor you are facing.

Once the stressor has been taken away, noradrenaline is released to even everything out again, you may be getting the noradrenaline a bit later than other people, keeping you hyped up for a bit longer.

It's perfectly normal, no need to worry.
