It's not their fault, but they're ugly. Certainly no on would call them attractive (and if they do, they're lying douches).
I've never seen someone with down syndrome and thought "wow, what a perfect specimen of human beauty!"
It's not nice and it's not fair, but those retards are uggos.
P.S. I'm not using retard in a derogatory manner, I'm merely using it in the literal sense of the word; after all, these people's mental faculties are "retarded"

    Everyone knows they are not conventionally attractive since their physical structure is different. I don't understand why you felt the need to make a post calling them ugly. Very unnecessary and gross.

    You're a fucking dick. Beauty is subjective. Just because someone isn't physically attractive to you doesn't mean they're ugly. On the contrary, I find this post to be extremely ugly and if I knew who you were I probably would find you ugly because of this post.

    Sure, they are not the most aesthetically pleasing. That doesn't mean there is nothing beautiful about them. Humanity is so much more than superficiality.

    The thing that irks me is how a lot of people insist on calling everyone beautiful.

    There's a difference between calling someone sweet, adorable, a beautiful soul, cute etc.

    If anything, start to make people understand that beauty is NOT all there is to someone, and it is OKAY to not be mainstream-goodlooking.

    So you haven't noticed that many people who don't have Down Syndrome aren't stereotypically attractive either?

    If you'd ever had anything to do with people with this condition you'd know their affectionate natures more than make up for their unusual appearance.

      Actually my cousin has it and I've spent plenty of time with him, he's a cool dude; that said, he's also ugly.

          I'm glad you asked.
          I wouldn't say I'm "beautiful" but I'm certainly good looking. I've a good physique (which I jog and lift to maintain), and I've a cute face.
          Frequently at parties, moderately attractive women hit on me, without me having to try.
          I'm not great at relationships, but definitely proficient at one-night-stands.
          Thank God I was born somewhat attractive, I'm terrible at flirting, so my looks compensate for my shyness (:
          I'm no Ryan Gosling, but I'm good looking enough that people in high school thought I was gay.

    Normal? Sure. Acceptable to say out loud? No.

    In any case, I know I've seen some kids with Down Syndrome who were genuinely cute. Though admittedly, emphasis on *kids.*

    Well they're not exactly attractive, no. But a personality can make a face. If someone's physically hot and wears black lace, but then goes around chopping of a live pigs balls and stomping on kittens heads, they instantly become unattractive. Whereas someone who doesn't have the nicest face can still make you fall in love, by being a sweet person.
