Inn that i write the same word over and over again on paper?

Whenever I have nothing to do in class, I pull out a piece of paper and write out the same word or sentence over and over again until I have no room left and the paper looks like a jumbled mess. My friend noticed and asked "Why do you keep doing that?" which hinted that my bad habit may make me look like a psychopath. Is it really that bad?

    I do that, but it's only when I'm trying to memorize how to spell a word. It's not really normal.

    Do you want to do it cause ur bored or is it like some sort of tick or subconsious shit. Can you stop doing it when you start or in the middle of it?

    If you have control over it ans u want to do it: Is weird but normal

    When I was a teen I'd repeatedly write crushes' names or something so normal I guess.

    What's the point of this little exercise of yours? Unless you're trying to hypnotize yourself or do written affirmations your exercise is pointless.
