Inn that i didn't bleed?

I work with knives a lot and get cut often. Yesterday I was dehydrated and when I got a cut it barely had a drop of blood
I've had less severe cuts that gave me tablespoons of blood. Should I be worried? I treated the wound and it scanned up like a normal wound.

Either the cut was very shallow or you were severely dehydrated, or both. Why did you allow yourself to become dehydrated? That's not healthy and can have severe longterm health effects.

    • Was sick and access to clean water was difficult. I've had cuts equal severity or less bleed ten times the amount

If you don't have access to clean water out of the tap I suggest you boil it up, bottle it and keep it for when you need it: ie about 2 litres a day, including tea and/or coffee.

It does sound as if the dehydration caused the lack of bleeding: I know when I have even a tiny amount of blood taken for medical tests it's harder to get if I've forgotten to drink water beforehand.

I'm glad to hear it. Unless you're self-employed, your employer is at fault for placing you in working conditions where you had no access to clean water.

Since living and working in outback Australia, I never go anywhere without a bottle of water.
