I am a 23 year old girl in university. I sometimes pretend I am still in high school, in my daydreams.I am not imagining my old high school but rather a fictional one, where some of my current friends are and also some fictional characters. Is this normal, does anyone do something similar?
Sounds like you are one of those people whose life probably peaked in high school. Most hated it and wouldn't redo it for the world, but you are in college and dream of high school? Nope, not at all normal, to me.
Actually, it is pretty much the opposite, I was a nerdy girl, didn't get along with the people in y class and had few friends. The only reasonable explanation I can think of, is that I try to re-live the high school period in my imagination, trying to make it better than it actually was? I dunno
Yes I do. This is so me! and I'm 23 too, and I'm also in university. I have friends from my organization (not from uni) I sometimes pretend I'm still in high school and daydreaming that they are my high school friends.
Yes normal to daydream, this happens to us
when we graduate we miss our high school years
going everyday to see our friends.
Sounds quite normal to me. I love to daydream as well, especially before I go to sleep at night.
