Inn for guys to have online female gaming friends?

I went on two dates with this guy who I like quite a bit. He games a lot, which is cool whatever he likes to do. I noticed he talked about a female friend a few times; I have a lot of male friends so I felt it was only right not to be skeptical. Through text, I found out that this female friend was actually an online gaming friend. I'm starting to learn that he probably plays online games nearly everyday (not positive).

I'm feeling a little worried about this. I'd like to be with someone who isn't caught up in a virtual game world especially with another girl. Is this normal? Am I being paranoid? Should I run? I mean, it's only been two dates...

    Just relax a little bit.

    I have a gf and online female friends, as well as lots of female friends in real life, doesn't mean I don't love my gf any less.

    I game with a lot of guys, and many of them have gfs im just saying someone do cheat.. But i probaly play with the weirdos.. Cuz im pretty weird..! Haha.
    But i game with guys and have a bf and i would never cheat, and if you guys are dateing i guess he dont need a online girl? I mean you are "real" Haha..

    I've got a female friend I used to game with for about 5 years. It's been purely platonic. You gotta trust that he wouldn't cheat or anything :p

    I would be a control freak if I actively asked him to not talk to his online friends anymore or as much. If I didn't like the behavior I'd just stop dating him which is not controlling anything but my own actions.

    So you were less worried when you thought he has physical contact with this giirl, but more worried when you realised they never met? Am I in the Twilight Zone?

      I'm worried it may mean he doesn't have relationships not online or has trouble sustaining them.

        Based on one online friend? That's irrational. If he didn't form live relationships he wouldn't be dating you.
