Infected piercing

I got my conch pierced a month ago and my piercer told me to spray it with saline solution 3 times a day which i did. Since it was hard to see the back part I thought you would only spray it on the front part and i left the back part unsprayed. It wasn’t hurting anymore and I finally got to sleep on it. But last night i check the back part and it has a bump on it and a small puss starting to form. Its itchy but its not painful. Is this normal??? I sprayed it tho just last night.

Sounds like you may have messed up when you didn't clean the whole thing.

Though real talk, some people's bodies just aren't compatible with piercings. I knew people who followed every last instruction perfectly and still had problems.

Piercings are a delicate thing. My years were effortless my nipples took forever healed and somehow are infected now. No idea how. My belly button won't hold a piercing for anything. Rejected twice

You sleep on your vagina? How does that work?

Is it actual pus or is it just that weird clear leakage they have when they're healing? If it's pus, you might need to check back with your piercer. If it's just the clear fluid, it may well go away with just the saline.

Do not listen to anyone who has told you to put anything other than saline on it. Your piercer, if they were reputable, should have explained when they did your conch that ointments are really bad for it and alcohol or peroxide is damaging to healing skin. If it doesn't improve, call your piercer, or if they were a shonky place that uses guns, call a good piercer.

I definitely read "conch" incorrectly the first time.
