Increased feelings from kiss on cheek after flirtatious history w/ someone

I’m wondering if it’s normal to develop increased feelings like this after a kiss on the cheek in a situation where there’s been a mutual attraction/flirtation type of history.

Summary: after guy who I’ve had flirtatious history with kissed me on cheek, my feelings went from light to more serious

For years me and this guy have had a flirtatious history. It was always light and fluffy,

but then one day he kissed me on the cheek and quickly my feelings
increased.

Before the kiss I would get jealous when he said or I could notice his interest in others. But after he kissed me on the cheek, I was heartbroken/felt hurt each time he said or showed interest in someone else.

For years I didn’t see him as someone I’d seriously want to date despite being single the whole time. After the kiss, I started feeling a lot more for him and hoped for a relationship with him.

    Give him that look in the eye, like, "Damn you're sexy!" use your femininity on this dude if you're serious. When I was in Las Vegas I went to one of the black jack dealers and long story short i asked if I could kiss him so he met me in the parking garage and I changed my flight and stayed with him (did not have sex with him) but we went out and it was fun.. anyway I know this is different but it's an example of what you can do with your femininity.

    Well yea i suppose, wasn't the kiss meant to be a super flirt? or maybe you just crave actual intimate affection, Instead of mindlessly sleeping with someone, that may not be a relationship and it certainly isn't for me.

    (IM NOT CALLING YOU A WHORE, THIS IS MERELY A GUESS IF IM WRONG IM SORRY) I am assuming your in your 20's or something or otherwise known as the age of partying and having many different "relationships" with like 40 different guys/gals
