Janie, my mother and I didn't start having sexual relations until I was 28, and she was 49. Our first time was very short, but intense. About 4 months after we had been very active, my mother ended up getting pregnant. It was unplanned, but my mother believes it was a miracle that she was pregnant after being told for many years she would never conceive again. The fact that the baby might develope health issues being conceived through an incestuous relationship was the least of my mother's worries. She was just thrilled to be pregnant after being told she couldn't, anymore.
Unfortunately, my mother had a miscarriage at just over 3 months, and as hard as we tried she did not get pregnant again.
