I don't know how bad you need your job, but I would have said, "you're a fucking pig". I would have told him right then and there I quit, and walked out. He would have to beg, and apologize, and give me a raise to get me back, AND, tell the VP that it was HIM that farted on the phone!

The VP is notorious for teleconference flatulence. Apparently he sets the example as other stories are well known company wise.
