In what place on earth would it be more difficult to survive?

Hypothetically, would it be harder to survive in the Sahara desert, or on Antarctica?

People live in the Sahara; Antarctica is the sole continent that has never had a permanent human population.

    That's probably a clue.

I have to disagree, in Antarctica there is NcMurdo station year round population.

Yeah, but they couldn't survive without modern technology, whereas the Bedouins don't necessarily need modern technology.

Bedouins. People have survived in the Sahara for thousands of years. Cdmale4fem, modern technology allows humans to live in places we otherwise wouldn't be able to. Is outer space less difficult to survive in than the Sahara?

The Sahara is very easily survivable as long as you are educated on well all of that junk. Antarctica well yea no you'd die without gear and such and that's not surviving that's just living in a stupid environment
