Good point, because I probably wouldn't to be honest, but I still can't understand anyone wanting to be working that field, it's really bad for the person's mind. I'm not into pornography of course, but yes it's true, male porn actors make more money in gay porn.
I guess, deep down in the bottom of my heart I don't understand people getting into pornography, because people who actually work in that field have a very high rate of drug abuse, and suicide. I just think I'd rather do a lot of other jobs, because I don't think it's normal for someone to put a price on his, or her sexuality.
Well, maybe I find it a little funny that anyone would would want to work in that field. It's a sort of awkward, and uncomfortable type of funny. I figure it's better to laugh than to cry.
I feel awful for those who have been coerced, I'm sure there are people who actually enjoy the work as I'm sure there are people who have been coerced into it.
I've seen video's of girls who ended up crying during shoots and a few of those times the producers or whatever were harsh as heck towards the girls.
Yeah I'm not a porn fan in general, it doesn't appeal to me at all for many reasons, particularly the high chance they're being forced to do stuff they don't want to. I'm sure there are people who do it because they want to, as well as people who convince themselves it's because they want to, as well as those who feel trapped.
If there's got to be porn (and there does. There's a market and that's ok) I'd rather it be the amateur videos people post up. There's still a chance of coercion, unfortunately, but I feel like it has got to be so much less than the so called industry. It just seems exploitative and dangerous and I've heard awful, awful things.
I've heard that sometimes women will be told the scene will go one way, which they'll agree to do, then their partner will be told to do something else, including things the woman hasn't agreed to, or even things they have expressly stated they do not want to do. I've heard some are told they will not get paid unless they carry through with it. Perhaps some of those tears are acting. But I don't for a second believe all of them are.
I have no doubt this also happens to men, too, but obviously women are more subject to rough and/or degrading sexual acts in porn because that's the market.
There's also the whole psychology behind watching/consuming porn and it's effects on the brain (And I have no delusion that I won't be called a feminazi etc by some for saying that. Whoopdifuckindoo, retards). I can't say I'm particularly versed in it, I've only read things in passing, not in depth. But studies seem to have shown some disturbing things re long term perception and conditioning.
Like I said, I think amateur stuff is mostly fine...I think it's usually more likely to be an accurate portrayal of real sex. It's still not my cup of tea, but I don't judge people for watching it.
I think I've been in some pretty desperate situations, but I think I'd be more inclined to sell weed than sell my body, but that's just more my personality. Not that it's good to sell drugs, cause it isn't. Then again I might just be a beggar, but you never know people do desperate things in desperate times. I'm blessed that I've never been in that situation, it's true.
I think you make an excellent point when you say that many people are coerced. I honestly think the people who do the coercion are terrible. I especially think pimps are awful people of course.
In gay porn, bottom stays soft?

Then you and I can consider ourselves lucky to never have been in such a desperate situation.
Doesn't make them a shitty person who deserves to be mocked, particularly if they have been coerced into the situation.
Whether you understand their motivation or not is irrelevant.

Honestly aside from the bunch of videos I've seen, I haven't looked into it THAT much.
Mind sharing what you heard? You don't have to.

So you're saying if someone offered you 10mil for an hour or so, you wouldn't take it?

Let's just say I would strongly consider it but only with the consent of my partner.
Pretty much.
I would.
So you're telling me my favourite porn actress might be suicidal?

Some are. I talked to guy in the industry once who told me he was miserable, and very depressed.

I'm not surprised.
