I'm in love with my brother. We have been in love for as long as we both can remember and wouldn't want anyone else. We've tried other relationships, sex with other people, and nothing seems right except each other. Maybe it isn't normal, but it is okay?
the "side effects" common in inbreeding are highly unlikely after one generation. While they are more likely to crop up in a child from siblings than say, a couple who are not related in any way, it is still unlikely unless the inbreeding continues for several more generations. In ancient times, marrying a sibling was not out of the ordinary.
Its not normal but its understandable, being siblings is a complicated enough relationship that bonds you to someone for life but adding love (which it is possible for any two people to fall into together, no matter what prior relationship they might have had together)is a very strong bond to get past, its really no wonder you two have had trouble with other relationships, as for the same gender aspect gay men are and always have been a common thing and its important to remember that love isn't choosy so even "Straight" people could fall in love with another man/woman in the right situation. The crux of it all is that there is nothing wrong with love & never let anyone tell you different. As for the sexual aspect, its a natural part of a healthy relationship so just remember to take the necessary steps to insure you dont hurt each other, so in the end it's not normal but nothing wrong with that so live long and prosper.
