A lot of people have gone through this. I am a lesbian. It wasn't an easy journey to come out and live my life the way is natural to me. I was raised in a religious home (preacher's kid to be exact), so you can imagine the difficulty that caused. The important thing to remember is, no matter what, your feelings are important, and you deserve a life that makes you happy. If family or friends don't agree, don't let this stop you from finding happiness. You only get one life and it belongs to you. It isn't easy but you will make it through and will be stronger in the end.
