My girlfriend has the same thing when she thinks about whales, I think how the blue whale is the size of a plane or something. It freaks her out and she gets scared that something could be so big lmao xD
same with that video on youtube that compares all the planets in size and it keeps ascending to bigger planets, she freaks out that there's planets bigger than Earth when it's pretty huge already.
So yeah, somewhat normal/somewhat strange. :)
