This is a very common fetish, but BE CAREFUL! There are dangerous predators masquerading as dominants. You need to be able to clearly communicate what you want and know that the other person will respect an agreed upon safe word
Maybe not normal, but still pretty common in the fetish world. If you're anywhere near a large metro you should be able to find plenty of guys that would be happy to help.
I am really confused - how is it "common" yet "not normal"?
You can't just say "Well, most people pick their nose, but it's not normal" - make up your mind .-.
I disagree, I'm pretty sure I can type out anything I please.
More to the point:
Fetishes, are not normal behaviour, they are aberrant by definition. However, in the Fetish world, BDSM is probably the largest, common catchall sort of thing.
"I'm pretty sure I can type out anything I please."
You know, taking things so literally doesn't make things all that fun...
While a Fetish is not "normal" by its own definition, it's quite normal for one to have a fetish.
By your process of criticism you could say that most people are abnormal, because most people have some sort of secret fetish.
A fetish can be very intense, to a creepy degree, or it can be just a strong desire to do something uniquely arousing to the individual in question.
So, if fetishes are abnormal by definition - what is the point of ever asking about them on IIN?
"Is it normal I have a thing for hands?" - No.
"IIN I have an urge to give a rimjob?" - No.
"IIN i'm a guy 'n' i laik big boobs?" - No.
On the contrary - I would answer yes to all of them.
Either of our viewpoints would render this website useless...
Perhaps I should find a website that gathers real debaters, since most people around here just troll or make funny comments for Thumbs Up. Almost feel like my comment is useless, given how people thumbs up the funniest comment instead of the most helpful.
Whatever.
If this site were policed a bit more stringently it would be quite a bit more useful. But, yes, as it is, useless for it's purported purpose.
I'm somewhat older than 18 and I'd wager seen significantly more of the world, both the mundane and the spectacular. This doesn't mean much except that we are likely to view things somewhat differently.
I come here for this site's ability to provide me with an entertaining diversion from work, on occasion I feel an OP is genuinely worth putting in the effort to offer what I view to be a helpful reply (and sometimes this is simply that their fetish is nothing special). Often though the questions are so inane that they don't warrant a thoughful reply.
And personally I couldn't care less if my comments are up or down voted, I don't come here for any sort of personal validation, I don't have that sort of self-esteem issue.
But how would one be able to justly moderate a website like this, where the stories come from personal life experiences - that may or may not be true!
What if a story is true - but its nature is so unbelievably absurd that moderators block it?
Or
The story is false - but the moderators can't see (or can't be bothered to see) past its bullshit?
That being said, I understand how one could find himself laughing at some stories or posts on here. I've seen funny stuff myself! But most of the time, in my opinion, it just boils down to a sarcastic remark, almost reverse-judging the writer.
Dunno. I don't think you can do anything at this point. The website has acquired an audience - as immature or satiristic as it might be.
This has *nothing* to do with the BDSM story, though. We're just taking up space here xD
Anywho.
Yeah, I'm not exactly new. I've been registered here since I was 15 (currently being 18).
It's just... I thought I'd come back after 3 years, filled with nostalgia, seeking to help others feel more (or less) confident about their insecurities, answering questions, giving personal opinions, being a... mini-hero?
But it quickly turned annoying after the first few days.
At this point, I can't even be sure if the person writing is a troll or just an angsty teen. The lack of respect for grammar also puts me down.
Thanks for the welcome, though. Always nice to see a reasonable person ^^ *poofs*
