Im lovesick and miss her so much... after 3 dates

I met a girl through online dating and we met up. For me it was love at first sight. We have met up 2 other times and both expressed strong feelings for each other. Im 27.. she is 31 so we both know what we want.
I have seen her today and im feeling very weird. I feel down and depressed when im not with her. I sit by my phone waiting for her next text... i cant function properly without her...
It feels like im obsessed, i need to chill out.
Is this normal behaviour?

  • I had the exactly same feeling when I started dating my boyfriend. When we met every day I still craved more... But when summer came when we could only meet once a week I was literally going crazy. It feels like an obsession, as if you're truly alive only when you're with this special someone.
This is not entirely 'normal' cause people rarely have such strong feelings, but it's not a bad thing. The thing is, it's not until it doesn't wear you out. If it does, you gotta find a way to cope with this not to give your woman and youself the hard time.
What works for me is the following: I tell myself that while I'm away from my love, I'll be developing myself with the thought of him so that I become even more interesting to him. When I feel no inspiration, I say I'll be doing things for his sake, like learning to cook, working out to be in a better shape or whatever. This is a kind of spell that keeps you bonded with the person even when you're apart.
You may approach the situation differently. The point here is: if you can't help thinking of her all the time, let these thoughts be constructive and lead you forward.
    Good luck;)

  • Ya you just made an early decision to lust/love her with a quickness. Go for it but don't smother each other stomach some butterflies and just be yourself sounds like you may have a future but take it a day at a time.

  • its not a bad thing. you are in love. very much so. but make sure things aren't moving too fast. remember there are two sides to the relationship, you and her. just make sure you are both in the same place, because if it ends badly you could get very hurt.

  • My god that sounds annoying. It's good that you're so head-over-heels...but that can be a dealbreaker for a lot of women.

  • If she's the ''one'' she wouldn't be scared from your feelings.

Since the first step of saying to each other about both your feelings, has started, it makes it easier.

Maybe the easiest thing would be to ask her if she feels like to always being with you. If the answer is negative or if she says: ''well I need my own independance'' or something related to that, the couple doesn't start so well, since, in my opinion, lasting couples, among other things, it is necessary to have the same affection/sexual needs or not to far, otherwise one of the person will feel left out and the other will feel like in prison.

  • You need to chill out for a while on this woman. We, as women must have our independece. We cant be smothered! You are just in love! This happened to my uncle 3 years ago! He fell in lov ewith a lady they were deep into a relationship(sex) and she turned on him! so just be careful!

    • You may be moving a little too fast, its not a bad thing but remember if it doesnt work out you may feel even worse so dont get too attached too quickly give it some time.
