Just this weekend a dog ripped apart a kitten in my neighbourhood :( It was awful. And a few blocks away a german shephard was put down because he mauled a smaller dog, a terrier, to death :(
As a person with cats, I'm also concerned about viscious dogs. Not to mention I was bitten by one as a youngster. Not that I despise dogs, on the contrary, I had a collie before I ever got hooked on cats. She was sweet.
I don't have a problem with vicious dogs being, put down, but the irresponsible owners who don't train their dogs, and oftentimes encourage the aggressive behavior of their dogs need to face more than just a fine! People need to face consequences for their actions, or lack thereof.
As far a I'm concerned a dog that kills a kitten, or another dog needs to be put down!
Collie dogs are so magnificent!
A dog that will RIP a kitten, or toy dog apart needs to be disposed of, because it's a piece of garbage!
