He's almost twelve years old, and his eyesight is bad, so I won't take my chances. My ex-boyfriend's folks had a dog that killed his cat when he was kid, but they kept it cause it was a good guard dog. I would have gotten the dog put down for that. Hell, I don't even like dogs that kill bunny-rabbits. I had a dog that was good with all the other animals that we had, but she did kill snakes, Norway rats, and possums which was fine with me.
In all honesty, I would love to shoot an alligator.
One of the things I love so much about my sister's toy poodle is that he will go outside to take a whiz, and see a little rabbit within five feet, and not care. He's just über chill like that. Poodles are like fuzzy little people, or living teddy bears.
Regardless, I don't have patience for dogs who are aggressive with other dogs, or who have a high prey drive.
I may breed one of my girls. If so you should adopt a.puppy. Kelpies are awesome. Contrary to popular belief I DO own a farm and breed dogs on occasion. Hehe.
