Im changing to blonde to please my boyfriend

My boyfriend loves blonde women and he always says how hot they are. I'm natural brunette and although people tell me I'm pretty as a brunette, he would prefer me blonde.
I love him so much and so I've changed to blonde and now he says I'm really hot. Is this normal.

There's no need to go blonde to impress your boyfriend, if your boyfriend doesn't like who you are right now, he doesn't deserve you.

Don't change yourself to please a stupid, selfish boyfriend or anyone else for that matter. Don't change a thing about yourself for anyone other than yourself.

Look for a new boyfriend who likes you for you instead. Wear your hair natural or dye it any color you want, but do it for yourself, and only for yourself!

You've given us your boyfriend's opinion as well as the opinion of 'people'. But what about yours? Do you look better in blonde? Ignore the folks on this site getting triggered over your boyfriend having preferences.

I like the change of colour, but I liked it better when I was brunette but if it will help keep him happy with the way I look, then I suppose it's worth it.

Ensure you keep freshly shaved everywhere. If not, that could ruin the effect and he would displeased.

I love women of all types, but if dating a blonde, then much prefer her to be a natural blonde or give no indication otherwise.

Sure, if you're happy to do it as well, doing things to please your partner is fine. Just make sure it's not too one-sided and that you don't also feel pressured to do things you don't want to do.

No. If you don't want to change something about your body (even if it's just hair color) then you shouldn't let your partner pressure you into it. Next thing you know, he will request you to pierce your nipples and gain 50 pounds.

If a fuckin hair color is a deal breaker for him, well, what is he doing with a brunette?

Seriously, don't change your hair for him. I couldn't care less if you were brunette, actually I find them really sexy. My girl is a brunette and I love her. Stay who you are.

He is turned on by it, but does he love you more?
either way, brown hair>other colors>blonde hair

I think unnatural blondes are just a shame.

If you are happy with being blonde, I don't really see what the big deal is. But he should be happy with you no matter what your hair color. My husband prefers me with long hair, so I usually keep it long. He says I look hotter with long hair. He won't be mad if I cut it short, but I know his preference, and I am fine to keep it long. I don't see what the difference is. But the main thing is, you need to be happy with how you look. And he needs to still love you and think you're beautiful no matter what color your hair is. But if his preference is blonde, and you want to dye it for him, it's honestly NO big deal.

It is fine for your boyfriend to have preferences and to make suggestions for you to try, but always make sure that when you change your appearance to fit them, that it is something you want to do as well. Also, although it doesn't sound like it was the case, if a guy ever threatens to leave you if you don't change your appearance or tries to pressure you into it knowing that you don't want to do it, never go through with it. Although it is fine for him to have preferences, if he is dating you, he should like you for you and not be fixated on changing you.

I had a boyfriend try to convince me to cut all of my hair off into a pixie, but I knew I would hate it and told him that I didn't want to. He asked a few more times, but eventually let it go.

If it is something you want to do, great. Just make sure you aren't going against your wishes in order to please your boyfriend.

Should go with ombre, best of both worlds, its super hot and then you don't have to color your roots all the time.

Hey it's not like I'm keeping her in chains in a dungeon. She can always leave if she hates it that much.
